Abstract

The main objective of this study is to report the outcome of a clinical case involving a patient with hyperchromia in the upper right central incisor, causing aesthetic dissatisfaction with her smile. The proposed treatment consisted of internal and external bleaching of the endodontically treated tooth, which provided a harmonious smile color. Bleaching darkened root canal teeth aims to provide a more aesthetic smile by removing pigments present in the tooth structure. The technique selected was Immediate or Power Bleaching, using 35% hydrogen peroxide in three successive 15-minute applications. After two sessions, a significant change in tooth color was achieved, resulting in a satisfactory and positive outcome, as the technique used is a conservative alternative.
