ANAIS DA XII E XIII SEMANA VETERINÁRIA
CURSO DE MEDICINA VETERINÁRIA
Abstract
It is with great satisfaction that we present the Annals of the XII and XIII Academic Week of the Veterinary Medicine Course at the Centro Universitário do Vale do Araguaia, moments that are consolidated as important spaces of integration between teaching, research, and extension. These academic events brought together students, teachers, researchers and professionals in the field of veterinary medicine to share experiences, present scientific papers and reflect on contemporary challenges of veterinary knowledge. The conduct of academic weeks in graduation goes beyond the mere exhibition of papers, they foster the culture of research, stimulate critical thinking and broaden the horizons of student action. By documenting and publishing in this collection the results of investigations, case reports, extension projects and other academic productions, we reaffirm the institutional commitment to the formation of qualified, ethical and socially engaged professionals. The papers presented during the 12th and 13th editions of the Academic Week of the Veterinary Medicine Course represent a diversity of topics, approaches and methodologies - from experimental studies, clinical trials, field research and community outreach initiatives - reflecting both the vigor of academic output and the social relevance of veterinary medicine. By disclosing these results in this volume of the Annals, we offer to the academic community, professionals and society in general a permanent record of the scientific contributions and emerging extensionists of the course. In addition to strengthening the interface between undergraduate and postgraduate studies, between academia and market, this annals encourages collaboration among different areas of knowledge, enhances student leadership and expands opportunities for dissemination of knowledge and innovative practices. We thank all the authors, supervisors, assessors, organizers, speakers and participants who made this encyclical possible. May this volume of Annals inspire new research, new links of extension and, above all, the continuous advancement of veterinary knowledge for the benefit of animals, people and the environment.
