IMPLANTAÇÃO DE PROTOCOLO PARA RECONHECIMENTO DE SITUAÇÕES DE VULNERABILIDADE EM INSTITUIÇÃO DE ENSINO SUPERIOR
Abstract
This study aimed to develop and implement a dental care protocol focused on identifying and managing women experiencing violence. It emphasized mandatory reporting and strengthening academic training in Dentistry. A literature review and document analysis were conducted to support the protocol's development, followed by student training through lectures and permanent audiovisual materials. The results revealed training gaps, professional insecurity regarding the completion of the notification form, operational difficulties in accessing the municipal referral system, and operational limitations related to notification instruments. The systematization of information and the availability of educational tools have the potential to contribute to greater technical clarity, strengthen ethical responsibility, and encourage proper reporting. It is concluded that the structured inclusion of this topic in dental education and the standardization of procedures represent fundamental strategies for improving professional practice and strengthening the network of protection for women.
