RESTRIÇÃO AO USO DE CELULARES NAS ESCOLAS: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA EM UMA INSTITUIÇÃO DE ENSINO RURAL DA BAHIA
Abstract
This study analyzes the implementation of Law No. 15.100/2025 in a rural school in Bahia, Brazil, from March to August 2025, through documentary analysis and systematized reflection on teaching practice. The qualitative research examines minutes, regulations, and lesson plans to understand adaptation challenges to mobile phone restrictions. Results indicate that school management adopted a total ban, disregarding pedagogical exceptions, which aggravated digital access inequalities in rural areas. The absence of teacher training, participatory governance structures, and multidisciplinary support teams was identified. Although the measure strengthened face-to-face interactions, it limited the development of digital skills. The effectiveness of the policy depends on balancing restriction and intentional pedagogical mediation, with investment in institutional technological infrastructure and educator training for specific rural contexts.
